CHILI - Brown and Dump Crock Pot EASY! - 52 Soup and Chili Recipes

Pin It Now!

Can you feel it???  The Crisp air of Fall (and the coming Winter) is in the air.

TIME FOR SOUPS AND CHILI!!!

And this is my favorite. A basic Hamburger and Beans Chili.  Add some cans and spices and you have the EASIEST and BEST tasting Chili.

As the title implies, the recipe is little more than Browning the hamburger and dumping everything into a crock pot.  Make this in the morning and you have hot chili ready when you get home.  It's that time of year (or close) and time to break out the soup and Chili recipes!

Keep scrolling down for this easy to follow recipe...

OK... Here's what I did...

CHILI - Brown and Dump Crock Pot EASY!

Ingredients
  • 1 Pounds Ground Beef, Browned and Drained
  • 1 Large Onion, Diced
  • 1 Pint Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Can (15 Ounce) Diced Tomatoes, Drained
  • 2 Cans (15 Ounce) Chili Beans, Drained and Rinsed
  • 2 TBS Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, Crushed and Minced
  • 2 TBS Chili Powder (to taste, this is the heat, so know your eaters... More if they like HOT and less if they prefer less spicy)
  • 2 Cups Chicken Stock
  • 2 Small Cans Tomato Paste
Cooking Directions
  1. This is a brown and dump recipe for easy crock pot cooking... In a large heavy bottomed Skillet, brown the hamburger. Drain almost all of the fat from the skillet. Add the Onion to the hamburger and continue to saute for about 5 minutes until the onion softens.
  2. Dump the Hamburger and Onions in a large Crock Pot. Dump all remaining ingredients... EXCEPT THE TOMATO PASTE (save that for 30 minutes prior to serving).
  3. Set your Crock Pot for High if you are eating in 4 hours... I prefer the Low simmer setting, planning a meal for 8 hours from the Dump stage. Cover and forget.
  4. 30 minutes prior to serving, add the Tomato Paste, stir to mix and set on High.
  5. In 30 minutes, serve HOT and ENJOY!
